&ldquo A man is but the product of his thoughts what he thinks, he becomes.&rdquo - Mahatma Gandhi
On the 150th birth anniversary on Mahatma Gandhi ji, Perseverance House presented a special assembly on the theme Gandhi Jayanti on 1st October 2018. It was a sincere effort by the students of the school to give a deep insight into the life and times of Mahatma Gandhi and encouraged them to think about his vision of &lsquo Non Violence&rsquo . The assembly began with news headlines and an eloquent thought that emphasized the importance of the concept of non-violence. The skit presented by the children showcased the different incidents of the life of Gandhi ji as a young boy, as a barrister in South Africa and as Bapu in India. Children very confidently enlightened about the principles followed by Gandhi ji during his life. Various quotes and poem were also presented. Foot tapping dance performance by the students of class I captivated everyone. The performance on a medley of famous songs of Gandhi ji filled the ambience with a feeling of patriotism for our country. The assembly was finally concluded with pledge on Non Violence.

Mr. Wasim Mohd., the Physical Education Teacher was awarded with the Outstanding Physical Education Teacher Award-2018 by Action Committee for his valuable contribution in uplifting the standard of sports among the students.
