February 6, 2018 Times of India Workshop
Who can forget watching Looney Toons or Tom and Jerry on Saturday mornings? ????? ?? ?????? ???? ?? ?? ???? ??? ??????? ??????? ?
How fascinating is this world of cartoons. We travel from India to USA in a whistle&rsquo s time. Cartoons have a lasting effect on children. Children at every age learn a variety of things easily by watching educational cartoon films.
Infants and toddlers start learning different words, and their meanings. Also, cartoons have a tremendous impact in improving the cognitive aspects among young children. Children become more creative by watching cartoon films. They try to do things in different ways so their imagination and creativity is enhanced.
To improve spatial visualization skills using hands-on learning, the school in association with Times of India (TOI) organized a workshop on &ldquo Cartooning&rdquo for children from Classes I to V within the school hours. The children were engaged in the art of making cartoons themselves. They enthusiastically enjoyed making cartoon in the drawing files, thus enhancing the imaginative skills. It was an entertaining, rejuvenating and engaging workshop for our tiny tots and gave encouragement to unlock their creative skills.
