February 2, 2018 Special Assembly of Class I

It is not the honour that you take with you, but the heritage you leave behind.

Indian heritage is its treasure. We should not stumble upon the heritage. It's there, just waiting to be explored and shared.People&rsquo s relationship to their heritage is the same as the relationship of a child to its mother. We will be remembered only if we give to our younger generation a prosperous and safe India, resulting out of economic prosperity coupled with civilizational heritage.

To enlighten about the same, the students of class I (Marigold) presented a vibrant assembly on Indian Heritage. The assembly began with offering prayers to the almighty followed by the thought of the day. Students confidently described about the meaning of word &lsquo heritage&rsquo through poems. A skit was conducted wherein children presented &lsquo We Should Not Harm Our Heritage&rsquo . The audience were further introduced to the famous heritage sites of India such as Taj Mahal, Sun Temple, Red Fort, Elephanta Caves etc. The foot tapping dance performance was the most captivative part of the assembly. The assembly concluded teachers talk about do&rsquo s and dont&rsquo s to be followed when you visit any heritage site. Efforts of the students were highly appreciated by all the spectators.
